VHS Plant Stalls

The VHS operates plant stalls tables at its monthly meetings staffed by members with good information about the plants available for sale. Reach Plant Stall Coordinators with any questions/comments at plantstall@vichortsociety.org.

The Plant Stalls operate prior to the in-person meetings, starting at 6:30pm during the workshop, and during the tea break. (Note: No plant stalls in December)

Tables are set up at the rear of the meeting hall where plants donated by members are available for sale at reasonable prices.

Members are invited to bring donated plants between 6:00pm and 6:30 pm. Please bring your plants ready for sale: potted or carefully bagged and labeled: doing this means less work for the volunteers, as they do all the pricing and sales.

If you would like to receive a tax receipt for your donations you will need to fill out a VHS Plant List form. If you have not donated before, you might want to read the Plant Stall Donation Instructions. If you are a propagator, you may contact the Sales Coordinator (salestables@vichortsociety.org) to discuss a possible revenue sharing agreement.

We also accept donations of gardening items such as used tools, pots and containers for growing plants, stakes, hoses, ID tags/markers and other kinds of useful implements and tools. Anything donated should be clean and of good quality. We will not accept toxic materials (pesticides, herbicides) or inferior or damaged goods.

We also have a table of used gardening books and magazines for sale at our meetings. Prices are nominal because the books are either donated or ex-library.
