6:30pm – 8:30pm: VHS Summer Garden Party at HCP – Horticultural Centre of the Pacific at 505 Quayle Rd.

Come prepared to enjoy a pleasant and relaxed evening in the Gardens of HCP! As always there will be wonderful refreshments, terrific door prizes, and time to catch up with other gardeners.

We will have a short meeting in the Pavilion with any updates for our membership, followed by time to walk the gardens and take in a couple of mini-talks in situ!

The following talks (approximately 20 min each) will be offered:

• Grasses by Mike Rogers
• Herbs by Janice Novotil
• Mixed Borders by Kerry Seifried and Debbie Guedes

Please note that we encourage you to car pool to the Garden Party, as the main HCP Parking Lot will be designated for those needing easy access and with multiple passengers. There is additional parking along Quayle Road, and you can drop passengers off at the main gate before parking and walking back to HCP. Come prepared to walk — both for the gardens and for parking! But it will be worth it!!

Our Meetings

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month (except January & August).

There is a $5 drop-in fee at the door for non-members for this event, refundable if you decide to become a Member of the Society.
