This project will fund a community bed within a new allotment garden at Clarke Road in Brentwood Bay, adjacent to Rom Knott Park. The community bed will aid in delivering workshops for the community, garden tours for kids, and as a learning garden to experiment with different approaches to growing food. At the end of the growing season, the harvest will be donated to the local food bank. Sander, their President, showed us the site and spoke to us about their plans.
