Native Pollinator Garden Creation
Saturday, November 30, 2019 –
521 Craigflower Rd
Pollinator Partnership Canada, the Vic West Food Security Collective, and the Vic West Community Association have partnered to create and enhance pollinator habitat using native (edible and medicinal) plants. This planting event will take place at the Banfield commons. We would love for the community to come out to help plant and show your support in the event and project!
We will be planting 14 different species of native plants in this habitat enhancement project. Tools, snacks, beverages, and FUN will be supplied! Come join us and learn about how to create a pollinator garden as we plant up this small demonstration garden at Banfield Commons! Invite your friends and community members! All skill levels of gardeners are welcomed and encouraged to come (from beginner to expert).
Feel free to share the attached poster, or visit our Facebook event page for more information or to confirm your participation! You can also e-mail me if you have any additional questions about the event.
